What should I do if I'm injured?


Injuries are a difficult aspect of running. We want to do whatever we can to help you through your injury.

First: note that we are not doctors, physical therapists, nutritionists, or otherwise certified to treat injuries. We always recommend seeing a specialist first.

As soon as you feel an injury coming on, post in the activity stream (dashboard --> 'post to the community' box). Include:

The coaches will respond ASAP with advice and instructions. Again, we always recommend seeing a specialist, but we'll gladly offer exercises, stretches, etc. to get you feeling better.

We'll also adjust your training schedule. Note here: we advise against adjusting the training schedule for several weeks or months at a time. After all, we want you better as soon as possible!
